The world premiere of newest Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film "The WILD PEAR TREE", co-production with Bulgaria (RFF International, Stefan Kitanov), supported by Bulgarian National Film Center, was the closing film of the COMPETITION at 71-st FESTIVAL DE CANNES.
The three-hour film of the Turkish filmmaster was received by the audience extremely emotionally, and after the screening there were more than 15-minute standing ovations.
