The Dannish cinema legend Bille August arrived in Sofia as a special guest of 23 Sofia International Film Festival. At a special screening at 12 of March in Lumiere Lidl Cinema, August presented his newest film "A Fortunate Man". At the event he received the FIPRESCI 90 Platinum Award, which was given to August by the General Secretary of FIPRESCI Klaus Eder.
Bille August also received the Sofia Municipality Award by the mayor of the capital city - Yordanka Fandakova. At the event the director announced that he'll work on a film about the Bulgarian ruler Tzar Boris III. More details about the project will be coming soon.
One day later, Bille August met with fans and journalists of the traditional for Sofia Film Fest "INTERVIEW WITH AUTOGRAPH".
