Right after Sundance the latest Tonislav Hristov's film "The Magic Life of V", presented as a project at Sofia Meetings will have its European premiere at BERLINALE in February 2019.
“The Magic Life of V” was selected in “Generation 14 plus” section of 69th Berlinale International Film Festival. The film will be in the competition, consisted of 62 short and feature film projects.
Presented as a project in the 15th edition of the Sofia Meetings 2018, the co-production between Finland ("Making Movies"), Denmark (“Kirstine Barfod Film) and Bulgaria (Soul Food, Andrea Stanoeva / Tonislav Hristov), supported by National Film Center, the film tells a story of Veera - haunted by childhood traumas, Veera is trying to become more independent through live role-playing.
Wonderful Bulgarian professionals were working on that film - screenwriters are Tomislav Hristov, Kaarle Aho and Lyubomir Tsvetkov, DOP is Alexander Stanishev, composer - Peter Dundakov.
